Singapore Family Blue Mtns Farmstay program. Many Singaporean/expat families enjoy an outstanding holiday experience in the Blue Mtns fruit orchard/farmstay community of Bilpin, close to Sydney. Drive either from Sydney airport or from Sydney city - 90minutes direct.

A 2 night stay at Bilpin Country Lodge is the minimum available to book & enjoy the Blue Mtns experience. A 3 or 4 night stay will allow you to visit more activities & attractions. You may also time your visit to pick (pluck) fruit from fruit orchards (seasonal Nov-June).

Accommodation at Bilpin Country Lodge: there's a variety of family bedrooms & interconnected rooms sleeping 3, 4, 5 or 6 people. All have ensuite bathrooms. You can book 1, 2 or more bedrooms for families. Lodge comfortably sleeps max 20 adults/children - perfect for larger family groups. Breakfast is included daily on self serve basis. Plus you have access to and use of all outstanding lodge facilities. Suggested program:

- Day 1 Depart Sydney. Arrive at Bilpin Country Lodge from 2pm onwards. You can drive direct from Sydney hotels or airport - 90mins. Or spend the day sightseeing & drive via Katoomba/3 Sisters. There's many lunch options today with roadside cafes/restaurants. You can visit Blue Mtns Botanic garden at Mt Tomah (free entry) before arriving at the lodge at 2pm. Go fruit picking at a Bilpin 'pick your own' orchard (check seasons/opening hrs). Visit & taste at cider cellar doors in Bilpin. Hillbilly & Bilpin Cider have outstanding cider & food available.

This afternoon arrive & explore lodge grounds. See fruit trees & feed farm animals at 4-5pm. Dinner can be self catered at the lodge using full kitchen or dine-out at nearby Archibalds hotel (open 7 days/nights). There's supermarkets within 15min drive for all your food shopping. Enjoy campfire tonight (weather permitting) - BYO marshmellows! Go stargazing.

- Day 2 After self serve breakfast feed the animals at 9am. There's goats, horse, aplaca, chickens (collect fresh eggs). Children can enjoy fresh air & lodge activities this morning - canoeing, bushwalk, kids playground, trampoline, table tennis, basketball & more. Recommend go sightseeing to Katoomba, 3 Sisters, Leura & Blackheath. Visit Scenic World & ride the Scenic Railway & Skyway. This afternoon feed the animals at the lodge. Dinner self catered at the lodge or dine out at nearby restaurant, cafes, takeaway or Archibalds hotel/pub.

- Day 3 After self serve breakfast feed the animals. Pack-up your car & depart for next destination. Return to Sydney or drive to Hunter Valley wine country (2.5hrs) and/or onto Port Stephens for dolphin or whale watching. Or continue your self drive holiday to Brisbane or Canberra/Melboune or return to Sydney.

Options for a 4 or 5 day stay at Bilpin Country Lodge: With extra day(s) you'll have time to visit world famous Jenolan Caves (2hrs) or ride spectacular Zig Zag railway (45mins) or go horse riding (Centennial Glen or Megalong Valley) or visit Mudgee wineries (2hrs).
