Last minute Father’s Day gifts – Wollemi Artisan Market
This Sunday Dad’s around the country will be sitting propped up in bed with a tray on their laps - balancing cold toast and milky coffee next to a mystery gift.
They glance over at the wrapping. What is it this year? Socks? Undies? Hankies?
Lucky for some, the Wollemi Artisan Market is on this Saturday from 10am – 3pm at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre

Artists and Designers from near and far will be bringing their wares for the last minute gift shopper and for those who simply covet finely crafted art, jewellery and food. So save your Dad the worry and pick up something he’ll love to unwrap this Father’s Day.
Hailing from the mountains, Sydney, and West of the Divide, makers and creators carefully selected by the Cultural Centre’s Naomi Baker, will transform the Cultural Centre forecourt into a market above the clouds. With live music in the air, and great food and coffee from the café, this new market on the scene is one not to be missed. For the foodie Dads, pick up a bottle of mountains made hot chilli sauce or spicy relish, hand crafted laptop bags, or a piece of delicately crafted jewellery by Madeleine Chalfant-Yates for yourself while you’re there.
The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre is situated in the middle of Katoomba and is open 7 days a week. A recent addition to the cultural scene of the upper mountains, the Cultural Centre quickly cemented itself as the place to go for great food and coffee, plus great art, all with a view out over the Jamison Valley.

The permanent World Heritage multi-media exhibition is included with ticketed entry to the Blue Mountains Art Gallery and engages visitors in the expanse, natural history and wonder of the Blue Mountains.
We have a number of lucky Dads spending their Father’s Day with us at Bilpin Springs Lodge this year. With the Cultural Centre being so central to many attractions in Katoomba, and only 50 minutes from Bilpin, it is easy to make a day trip to places such as the Three Sisters, Scenic World and the Cultural Centre before grabbing some supplies from the conveniently located supermarket downstairs on your way home to the peace and quiet of the lodge.

Be sure not to miss out next year and head to the website to make a booking – or forget having wait - take a sneaky mid-week spring break!
